Ghana Council of Georgia Membership
Composition: Membership to the Council is voluntary and is open to any Ghanaian association that operates in the state of Georgia with the exception that only one association can represent the same ethnic group. Each member association shall appoint a person to be its delegate, and this person shall represent, and act on behalf of the member association in all affairs. Associations in the Council are considered autonomous and free to pursue their own programs without undue interference from the Council. An Association may seek the assistance of the Council only in matters affecting the association or the general Ghanaian Community.
Dues
Each of member association pays membership dues of $100 per year to participate. Prospective members complete a membership application form and pay one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $100.00, and the annual dues of $100.00.
